Jin said at present, the whole industry faces new opportunities, as the internet can potentially transform the traditional linear process in the industry into a network structure, which he calls the “industrial internet”.

For example, it is a linear process for consumers to successively contact marketers, consultants, doctors and postoperative nursing facilities. With an “industrial internet” platform, however, consumers can reach all the links in the process at any time.

He added that the domestic market still has huge growth potential in the next few years, and the driving force mainly comes from the mining of sub-markets and markets in the third- and fourth-tier cities.

Jin said this year has been a turning point for his organization, as it seeks to become within five years the world’s largest “industrial internet” platform in the field of cosmetic medicine.

Attracting 114 million visits in 2017, SoYoung has surpassed realself.com in the United States to become the largest global internet platform for cosmetic medicine.

"Some achievements have been made in the past five years, but the ‘industrial internet’ is actually not developed enough for our industry yet,” explained Jin, adding that his platform wants to break the boundaries and provide more customized content and services for undertakers in the industry with new technologies such as artificial intelligence.
