Gansu New Media Group

After Gansu New Media Group became operational, Gansu Daily reset the organizational structure and its news gathering and editing process. All reports filed by its own journalists are first published online on the app and then in the newspaper. Important news is covered in real time and key news stories are pushed and promoted, greatly boosting the timeliness of coverage and increasing the number of contributions.

Besides, the communication patterns are now more diversified. All these efforts have achieved the goal of deeper media integration with news gathering and editing teams of the Party newspaper shifting to mobile platforms.

According to the overall arrangements of the provincial Party committee and under the guidance of the Publicity Department of the provincial Party committee, Gansu New Media Group has been deeply involved in the development of Gansu integrated media centers at provincial and county levels, and was responsible for building "New Gansu Cloud", a provincial technical platform of the centers. In March 2019, the Phase 1 of "New Gansu Cloud" was completed and put online.

At the end of June 2019, the first 25 county-level integrated media centers in Gansu province officially moved to "New Gansu Cloud". In 2020, all the integrated media centers at provincial and county levels in Gansu will shift to "New Gansu Cloud" to create a strategic pattern of media integration for "One Network for Whole Province".
