Hurun top 10 Chinese property rich list of 2019 released
The Sweetome Group Hurun Property Rich List 2019 was released in Shanghai on Wednesday.
This is the 14th consecutive Hurun property rich list that ranks the top 50 Chinese property developers. The list only calculates the wealth of the property industry's entrepreneurs as of Aug 15.
The wealth of the top 50 exceeded 1.5 trillion yuan ($212.87 billion), with an average wealth of 31.1 billion yuan, near the historic peak two years ago.
Four of the 50 who started their businesses from scratch were younger than 50 years old. Five who are below 50 years old inherited or will inherit fortunes.
Shenzhen stayed at the top position, boasting the largest number of property developers' headquarters, followed by Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, which are home to 70 percent of property headquarters in China.
