Military combat readiness

What they say

Improve the response mechanism of public health emergencies
The novel coronavirus outbreak is a big test to China's governance system and ability. When we looked at the fight against the contagion, some shortcomings showed us that we must improve the response mechanism of public health emergencies from the national security level to increase our risk prevention capability.
I suggest that we set up and improve a military-civilian joint system for early warning of public health emergency and a military-civilian joint command system for epidemic prevention and control to promote the communications and interactions among the leaderships of the military and the local governments.
It is also necessary to establish an integrated military-civilian storage and supply system for strategic materials, to better respond to emergencies such as major epidemics.
