Hong Kong to provide at least 900 hours of free Tokyo Olympic TV programs

HONG KONG -- Secretary for home affairs of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) government Caspar Tsui Ying-wai said Friday that the five TV broadcasters in Hong Kong would provide at least 900 hours of free Tokyo Olympic programs for its citizens.
The HKSAR government has purchased the broadcast rights of the Tokyo Olympics a couple of days ago and is supported by five licensed broadcasters.
According to the protocols, all five TV broadcasters should provide at least 900-hour programs of the Tokyo Olympics on free channels and 2,000-hour at premium channels.
The athletes from Hong Kong, China have qualified for 32 events in the upcoming Tokyo Olympic Games.
