People enjoyed in a festive atmosphere at the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich, London on Saturday, marking the countdown to the Chinese Lunar New Year, which falls this coming weekend. [XING YI / CHINA DAILY]

Community group Newham Chinese Association hosted an experience session for mahjong, the four-person domino game that originated in China as a game for family and friends gatherings that has spread across Asia and also become popular in Western countries.
