Diplomatic take: Envoys welcome government work report

Michael Campbell, Nicaragua's ambassador to China

We understand that it's the result of a large process of debate and consultation that happens at the local levels, and that slowly moves up to this very important annual session. The whole-process people's democracy is most definitely a key feature of Chinese modernization and will contribute greatly to Chinese development.
I'm very interested in listening to the report by Premier Li Qiang so that we can learn as much as possible about China and China's experience during the last year and its plans for this year.
I think in the case of China, all topics are very important and very interesting. So I think there's a lot to learn and every step of the way Nicaragua will stand hand in hand with the people and government of China and with the Communist Party of China.
We hope to bring our excellent products into the Chinese market, to the Chinese dining tables, and we also seek to import more excellent quality Chinese products into Nicaragua and to the Central American region.
