Exclusive! World and Olympic champion Liu Shiwen speaks of her passion and belief

In a recent interview with China Daily online show Tracking Success, table tennis world and Olympic champion Liu Shiwen shared stories from her 20-year international career since making her debut in 2004.

With all the highs and lows, Liu hopes her stories will inspire the younger generation to bravely chase their dreams. Being elected as one of the joint chairs of the International Table Tennis Federation Athletes Commission in 2022, Liu said her new role in the world table tennis community gives her a greater platform, which she hopes to use to widely promote the sport and attract people to pick up the paddle.
