Kazakhstan ranked 24th in the UN E-Government Development Index, DKnews.kz reports.

Kazakhstan is strengthening its position on the global stage in the field of digital governance. According to the UN E-Government Survey 2024, the country has climbed to 24th place in the global ranking of e-government development, improving its position by four places compared to the previous report.

It is worth noting that this is one of Kazakhstan's best performances in its history of participating in the UN ranking.

In the ranking, UN experts assess the development of e-services, human capital, and telecommunications infrastructure.

"This is an important indicator that reflects our achievements in digitalization and effective public governance. The UN ranking is compiled every two years and takes into account key aspects such as the development of e-services, human capital, and telecommunications infrastructure, evaluating 193 countries. This achievement is the result of joint efforts, and we continue to work to make our services accessible, secure, and innovative for every Kazakhstani!" Minister of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan
