Former member of the Party committee of CSRC under investigation

Wang Huimin, former member of the Party committee of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, is being investigated for suspected serious violations of the Party discipline and national laws, China's top anti-corruption watchdogs said.
The investigation was disclosed by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China and the National Commission of Supervision online on Friday, with no more details released.
Public information shows that Wang, 66, a native of Gansu province, began his career in 1975 and joined the Party in 1982. He worked for the country's bank systems and Xinjiang Uygur autonomous regions for decades.
In 2014, he became a member of the Party committee of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, and was also responsible for the discipline work in the commission.
