New chief appointed for Hefei, Anhui

Fei Gaoyun has been appointed as the secretary of the Communist Party of China, or CPC, Hefei Municipal Committee, local media reported on Friday evening.
According to publicly available information, Fei was born in August 1971 and holds a master's degree in public administration. He is also an alternate member of the 20th Central Committee of the CPC.
Fei previously served in neighboring Jiangsu province, became the province's vice-governor in 2018 and executive vice-governor in 2021.
In December 2022, he was appointed as the executive vice-governor of Anhui province.
