Competition collaboration has tourists following flame to Changzhou

The culinary competition Game of Flame joins forces with the 2025 Jiangsu Football City League, or "Suchao", in an innovative fusion of sports, entertainment, and gastronomy. The collaboration brings together celebrity supporters, fan engagement activities, and a fresh attempt at integrating culture and tourism.
Stars from Game of Flame, including Taiwan singer Wilber Pan, comedian Yue Yunpeng, and actress Liu Tao, rallied behind Changzhou city's soccer team. Outside the Changzhou Olympic Sports Center, the show set up a food market that offered fans local delicacies and interactive games with exclusive prizes.
The blend of reality shows, sports, and food exemplifies the potential for cross-sector collaborations in boosting local tourism.

Changzhou city has set ambitious goals for 2025 with a target of 200 billion yuan ($27.89 billion) in tourism revenue and to raise the culture industry's GDP contribution to 6.3 percent.
The show Game of Flame, which is set to premiere on the video-streaming platform Youku, will further spotlight the city by filming future episodes there and launching a "Follow the Show to Taste Changzhou" food trail. This initiative aims to revitalize traditional cuisine and establish Changzhou as a must-visit cultural and culinary destination.
By merging entertainment with sports and local culture, Game of Flame and the Jiangsu Football City League hope to pioneer a dynamic path for integrated tourism development.
