近年來，人們的思想越來越開放了。以前被視為禁忌的婚前性行為也在被更多的人所接受。那么，“婚前性行為”用英語怎么表達？請看《中國日報》的相關報道：

The survey, “Sex and Sexuality of Chinese 2000-06”, which was released this week, found that roughly two-thirds of people said premarital sex was “acceptable” today.

The survey, conducted by the Institute of Sexuality and Gender at the Renmin University of China and financed by the Ford Foundation, polled more than 6,000 people aged 18-61 from 21 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities across the country.

報道中說，中國人民大學性社會學研究所發布的《中國人的性行為與性關系：歷史發展2000-2006》調查報告顯示，接受調查的6000多人中，有2/3的人接受婚前性行為。

這里的“premarital sex”指的就是“婚前性行為”。“Premarital”是一個合成詞，“marital”是“婚姻的”意思，“pre-”是常見的前綴，意思是“在……之前”，合在一起就是“婚前的”意思。類似的帶前綴“pre-”的詞還有“pre-tax”（稅前的）、“preadolescent”（青春期前的）和“precollege”（進大學前的、大學預科的）等。

此外，“婚前性行為”還可以用“sex before marriage”來表達。如：Women's tolerance of sex before marriage had also increased greatly. （女性對婚前性行為的態度也更加寬容了。）
