I fully support the central government's decision to reduce senior executives' salary. I used to earn 1.2 to 1.3 million yuan ($192,000 to $208,000) before tax a year, and now my salary dropped the most in my company. I don't have a problem about it. I have had a high salary for many years. I have a house and a car. I could survive even if I was not paid for two years.

If the wife of a leader chases after vanity and often says to her husband, "why do other leaders have houses and cars while we have nothing?", the leader may take risks to accept bribes to satisfy his wife out of shame. Conversely, if the wife refuses to take any gifts even when someone sends a gift to their house, the leader will be immune (from duty crimes).

領(lǐng)導(dǎo)的妻子虛榮、攀比，天天嘮叨說(shuō)同樣是領(lǐng)導(dǎo)別人有車(chē)有房為什么我們沒(méi)有，作為領(lǐng)導(dǎo)肯定臉上過(guò)不去，這樣就很容易誘發(fā)犯罪。如果有人送禮到家里，妻子拒收，顯然這個(gè)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)所處環(huán)境就安全。

The proportion of flights being punctual in our country dropped from 72 percent in 2013 to 68 percent last year, which indicates that the traditional airspace management system has hindered the development of the civil aviation industry and has to be reformed as soon as possible.

實(shí)行高中免費(fèi)義務(wù)教育，對(duì)我們現(xiàn)在的經(jīng)濟(jì)結(jié)構(gòu)調(diào)整轉(zhuǎn)型、特別是投資拉動(dòng)也有重要作用。多投入3000多個(gè)億，對(duì)經(jīng)濟(jì)社會(huì)增長(zhǎng)有一定積極作用，還有就是可以有效緩解當(dāng)前的就業(yè)壓力。

It is a must to pay attention to the increasingly serious problem of abandoned infants. About 100,000 babies are abandoned every year, and 99 percent of them are disabled or have diseases. I suggested providing free physical checks for pregnant women and building a national registration system for children with disabilities or disease.

棄嬰已成為重大社會(huì)問(wèn)題。我國(guó)每年棄嬰10萬(wàn)名，“嬰兒安全島”內(nèi)99％為殘疾棄嬰、棄童。建議政府在全國(guó)范圍內(nèi)對(duì)戶籍人口、流動(dòng)人口的“產(chǎn)前篩查”實(shí)施免費(fèi)，并建立病殘兒童國(guó)家登記制度。

Innovation will not be a problem if students start attending innovation courses and receive training on imagination and independent thinking starting in primary school. The reason why innovation seems so hard is that people's thinking is confined while receiving education. Children in China lag behind in the ability to find breakthroughs in thinking and imagination compared with their foreign counterparts.

如果現(xiàn)在小學(xué)、中學(xué)、大學(xué)都有很好的創(chuàng)新創(chuàng)業(yè)課程，鍛煉學(xué)生的想象力，鍛煉學(xué)生獨(dú)立思考能力和突破能力，那么未來(lái)中國(guó)的創(chuàng)新就不是一個(gè)問(wèn)題。為什么中國(guó)現(xiàn)在的創(chuàng)新那么難，是因?yàn)閺男〉酱蟮慕逃^(guò)程使思維受到了局限。中國(guó)孩子的突破性思維能力和顛覆性思維能力以及想象力跟國(guó)外的孩子比，還是要差一點(diǎn)。

In recent years, there have been a series of public protests in China against paraxylene projects, citing concerns that the petrochemical is toxic. Although there is great demand in the country for the product and it must be imported to meet the demand, lots of legitimate projects were shut down, causing great loss of State funds just because of the false beliefs. These incidents reflect that popularization of scientific knowledge among the public should be further strengthened.

近年來(lái)，在我國(guó)面臨PX大量進(jìn)口的前提下，一些地方在PX項(xiàng)目建設(shè)過(guò)程中，由于公眾堅(jiān)信“PX劇毒”和其他原因，連續(xù)引起多起大規(guī)模群體事件，陷入“一鬧就停”的尷尬局面，給國(guó)家?guī)?lái)巨大損失。這些現(xiàn)象背后，反映出的實(shí)質(zhì)問(wèn)題是我國(guó)公民科學(xué)素質(zhì)有待提高。
