2016年正是民間流傳的60年一遇的“火猴年”，券商跟風發布2016猴年風水投資觀點。1月28日，中信里昂證券發布了一年一度的證券風水指數，預測即將到來的丙申“火猴年”香港股市走勢、生肖運勢等。

"Since the coming year is a 'fire monkey' year, there'll be conflicts and opportunities in the stock market, combined with ups and downs in the market just like the way monkeys behave," Cherry Ma, technology analyst at CLSA, said on Thursday.
中信里昂證券的技術分析師Cherry Ma 28日表示：“因為來年是‘火猴’年，股市有跌宕起伏也充滿機遇，會像猴子一樣‘上躥下跳’。”

這份預測主要針對的是恒生指數（Hang Seng Index）。這份根據恒生指數的“八字”作出的風水預測稱，靈猴將為“土雞”——恒生指數保駕護航，令恒生指數今年有一個不錯的開局（have a decent start），年中一度下探后再度上升（a mid-year downward swing and then a recovery）。

上半年：金和水相關行業將走強

不但是黃金和白銀，汽車、金融、博彩、交通運輸和機械板塊有望向好，油氣、公用事業、科技、電信和互聯網板塊開年也將維持良好勢頭。但隨著猴子進入第四季度開始亂竄，這些板塊的表現將急轉直下。
