Wuhan holds 8th Intl Advisory Council meeting



On Dec 5, Wuhan Municipal People’s Government held the 8th International Advisory Council meeting. The meeting this year gathered 15 new consultants to offer suggestions towards Wuhan’s international development.








Hubei holds tourism promotional event in India



About 40 representatives from the Hubei Provincial Tourism Bureau, China National Tourism Administration office in New Delhi and the Travel Agent's Association of India (TAAI), took part in a forum in New Delhi, capital of India, on Dec, 3.








Wudang accelerates cable car construction



Officials of the Wudang Mountains Tourism and Economy Special Region, including Li Faping, director of the management committee, visited Wulong Palace scenic spot on Nov 26, with the aim of accelerating the construction of the Wulong cable car.

Zhongxiang, a county-level city in central Hubei province, has been focusing on developing four major cultural tourism products, based on its rich historical and cultural resources.








Taiwan Taoist delegation prays for cross-Straits peace



A Taoist delegation of 20 people from Taiwan recently visited Wudang Mountains in Shiyan city, Hubei province, for Taoist cultural exchange, wudangshan.gov.cn reported on Nov22.








Wuhan to develop underground space



A seminar on the development of underground rail transportation in Wuhan was held on Nov 28. Ten experts from Japan, Singapore Beijing and Shanghai joined the meeting.








Wuhan promotes Mulan as tourist destination



Huangpi Mulan, one of the major tourist sites in Wuhan, attracted much attention at its booth during the 2013 Wuhan International Fashion Week, which kicked off on Nov 21 at the Wuhan International Expo Center in Hubei province.
