As the capital of Inner Mongolia, Hohhot has recently made great strides in cloud computing construction and big data development, with the ambition to build China’s Cloud Valley in the future.
Li Jiheng recently visited several veterans and retired cadres in Inner Mongolia to award them with commemorative medals and recognize their contribution during the revolutionary war.
Hohhot, capital of North China’s Inner Mongolia, and known as “China’s dairy capital”, co-launched China Dairy Industry Big Data Platform (Niudata), the nation’s first one-stop analytics and trading platform for the dairy industry, with the big data industry leader Guoyun Data (Suzhou).

Recently, a platform powered by big data tech was set up in Arun Banner, Hulunbuir League, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, producing accurate and efficient poverty alleviation in the local area.
Inner Mongolia has recently built a big data center providing patent-related data for entrepreneurs starting a business and for inventors creating new technologies.
In recent years, Inner Mongolia has made earnest efforts to develop its cloud computing industry, and a conference aiming to boost the regional big data sector will commence in Beijing on Nov 7.
Inner Mongolia has set goals for developing big data as well as the cloud computing industry, with the ambition of building up a multi-ethnic shared e-platform over the next three to five years.
A bullet train departed Hohhot East Railway Station for Ulanqab marking the start of high-speed rail services using Inner Mongolia’s first newly-laid high-speed railway on Aug 3.
This year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the autonomous region, during which various celebrations are planned to showcase its prosperity and ethnic diversity.
