在瑞典,有這么一條社會(huì)行為準(zhǔn)則,那就是lagom。“l(fā)agom”這個(gè)詞的大致意思是“剛好夠”、“中庸”、“適當(dāng)”以及其他你可以從字典中找到的同義詞。在論及社會(huì)行為時(shí),這個(gè)詞意味著適當(dāng)?shù)卣{(diào)和,不要極端地表露感情。
First, the Danes brought us hygge - the concept of creating a warm, inviting atmosphere at home. Now the Swedes are introducing lagom - meaning not too much, and not too little.
丹麥人先讓我們認(rèn)識(shí)了hygge(舒適及令人滿足的感覺(jué)或環(huán)境),也就是在家中營(yíng)造溫暖宜人的氛圍。如今瑞典人又把lagom帶給了我們,意思是不多少,剛剛好。
It comes from the phrase "lagom ?r b?st", which translates as the right amount is best. It's the balance of not having to sacrifice what you love, while not taking more than you need from the planet.
這個(gè)詞來(lái)自一句瑞典諺語(yǔ)“l(fā)agom ?r b?st”,翻譯過(guò)來(lái)意即剛剛好就是最好。這是一種不要犧牲你所愛(ài),也不要從地球上掠取超過(guò)所需之間的平衡。
The archetypical Swedish proverb "Lagom ?r b?st", literally "The right amount is best", is also translated as "Enough is as good as a feast". That same proverb is translated as "There is virtue in moderation".
這句典型的瑞典諺語(yǔ)字面意思是“適量就是最好”,也可以翻譯成“凡事適可而止”或者“適度是種美德”。
"This is a way of life for most households in Sweden," says Joanna Yarrow, Ikea's head of sustainability. "Scandinavians are greener than Britons because there's a feeling of collective action - everyone's doing their bit."
宜家公司可持續(xù)發(fā)展部門的負(fù)責(zé)人喬安娜說(shuō):“瑞典大多數(shù)家庭都是這樣的生活方式。斯堪的納維亞人比英國(guó)人要更加環(huán)保,因?yàn)樗麄冇屑w意識(shí),每個(gè)人都在盡自己的一份努力。”
