With the tagline "Climate Changes, Truth Does Not", the follow-up to 2006's Inconvenient Truth updates the Oscar-winning documentary for a new era – one in which Donald Trump is the US President. Directed by husband-and-wife team Jon Shenk and Bonni Cohen, the documentary again follows former Vice President Al Gore as he travels the world sounding the alarm about climate change. The original film became one of the highest-grossing documentaries of all time, with Gore's high-tech global warming road show front and centre. This one doesn't aim to simply retell the same story, though. "An Inconvenient Truth has a very specific style that we were never looking to replicate," says Cohen. "We tend toward following action, watching events and characters unfold, not doing too much scripting beforehand."
